This project asked what a design-system foundation actually needs to contain to be usable by an engineering team on day one — not a mood board, a working component library with tokens attached.
We built the dashboard around dense, data-heavy screens on purpose: tables, filters, and metric cards are the hardest surfaces to keep consistent once a product grows past its first few screens, so that’s where the system had to prove itself first.
The handoff file mirrors exactly what Design System Foundations ships to a real client: tokens, components, and documentation, not screens alone. As a self-initiated project it carries no client outcome or usage metric — the componentized system is what’s on display.
